She Wore Red Feathers
She Wore Red Feathers, palette knife oil on canvas, 61 x 61cm
View to America Bay, Hawkesbury River with a touch of red pink hue on the fresh gum leaves in the foreground.
My landscapes are composed to lead the eye through chaos towards space and calm. Painted to put the viewer under and amongst tree limbs and leaves shading the viewer and framing the space beyond
I paint ‘alla prima’ which means ‘at first attempt’ my paintings are usually completed within one session.
